The obverse has the legend \"FERDIN CAROL: D: G: ARCHID:AV\" along the edge surrounding the emperor's bust with the date 1649split by the bust. The reverse has two shields within a circle with the one on the right being the Tyrol arms and the one on the left being the Austrian shield. The reverse has the legend \"DVX.BVRGGVND:COM.TYROLIS\" surrounding the shields along the edge with the denomination below. The coin is graded by CNG as AU 55 and comes in a plastic slab so marked. It measures approximately 20 mm in diameter and should weigh ~1.6 gm.
